Vacancy

ALTERnativity now has a vacancy for a Female Development Worker.

The role is based in Glasgow covering the whole country. The role will develop uptake of ALTERnativity resources and services including providing training to key leaders in both churches and the community.  A key focus area for this role will be working with outreach leaders supporting women in areas of poverty to challenge the isolation, exclusion and pressures facing them.  This work will include direct involvement with local groups and facilitating a women’s advisory group. 

1.5 days per week, hours are flexible but will require some evening and weekend work. Salary £21840 per annum  (pro rata)

EGM Date

ALTERnativiy will be holding an EGM at 5.30pm on the 16th of July at the ALTERnativity offices to approve our new constitution. Members are invited, please contact us if you intend to come along.

Carolyn Leaving

Hi Folks, Just a quick note to say farewell to our Women's Worker Carolyn. Carolyn has spent just under a year developing our work with women's groups and has now decided to move on.
